Rover P6 3500

The Rover P6 3500 was launched at the 1963 Earls Court Motor Show. It was aimed at the young executive who wanted a modern, sporting, high quality transport. Winner of the European car of the year in 1964, it had an advanced design that included a De Dion tube rear suspension, disc brake all round and an aluminium bonnet and boot lid. Early cars were powered by four cylinder power plants but in 1968 a Buick inspired 3528cc was introduced. This coupled with a Borg Warner automatic transmission propelled the car from 0-60 mph in just 10 secs and onto a top speed of 114mph.

The Rover P6 3500 Automatic offered here at Autostorico was first registered in July 1973. Finished in Cameron Green with Bronze leather interior trim this lovely example has covered an indicated 85,728 miles. Having been maintained to a very high standard the car underwent a re-paint in 2015 along with documented mechanical works. Whilst still retaining its original radio, head restraints, Power steering and tinted glass.

The car drives exceptionally well and is offered for sale with a current V5 registration, numerous invoices and other related material.
