The Citroen 2CV, or Deux Chevaux, was launched at the 1948 Paris Motorshow. Produced between 1948-1990 five million examples were produced. The little automobile became an instant hit with its renowned economy, reliability, and talent for navigating the roughest of roads even carrying farmers across their ploughed fields. Powered by a 2-cylinder 602cc air cooled engine producing 29bhp the 2CV is able to carry four passengers and luggage upto a claimed top speed of 71mph.
