Renault Clio V6 Sport

The Renault Clio V6 Sport was launched in 2001 and built by Tom Walkinshaw Racing.  Reminiscent of the Renault 5 Turbo of the mid 1980s and based on the MKII Clio, the V6 Sport was a dramatic-looking, mid-engined homologation special that boasted rear wheel drive. The Clio V6 was powered by Renaults 3.0 litre V6 engine, upgraded to 227 bhp and coupled to a six-speed manual gearbox. As the engine occupied the space normally reserved for rear passengers, this hot hatchback was a motorcar made for two. Accelerated flat out, it could reach 60mph in just over six seconds and go onto a top speed of 150 mph. The raw sound of the V6 engine just behind the driver made the driving experience very different to a normal front wheel drive hot hatch.

The Renault Clio V6 Sport (No 413) offered here at Autostorico is a 2003 “52 plate” which has covered 70,274 miles. Finished in Silver metallic, this stunning car boasts a comprehensive service history most recently carried out by SG Motorsport Services Ltd, a Clio V6 specialist, just 350 miles ago at a cost of £4900. This service included a new cambelt and water pump, new clutch, full service and new Michelin Pilot Sport tyres. This remarkable V6 offers a comprehensive specification including; Phase 2 18” wheels, Phase 2 rear lights, Ktec exhaust system, BMC carbon air intake, Recaro Pole Position seats, TRS harnesses and Renault Sport Sparco steering wheel.

A truly unique opportunity to own such an iconic car, which will only appreciate further over time.
