Aston Martin DB9 Coupe

The Aston Martin DB9 was first shown at the 2003 Frankfurt Motor Show as the replacement for the outgoing DB7. Designed jointly by Marek Reichman and Henrik Fisker, the DB9 was the first car to be built at Aston Martins purpose built Gaydon facility. The DB9 is built around an aluminium riveted and bonded VH (vertical-horizontal) tub then bodied with aluminium to keep weight to a minimum. This front/mid engined 2+2 GT was fitted with the all new 6.0 V12 producing an impressive 450bhp.  This engine coupled with a six speed “Touchtronic 2” automatic gearbox made for effortless cruising without compromising its blistering performance, boasting a 0-60 mph of just 4.7 secs and onto a top speed of 186mph. As with all hand built Aston Martins only the finest materials were used. Trimmed in Bridge-of-Weir hide and using the best veneers available.

The Aston Martin DB9 Coupe offered here at Autostorico is a 2004 “54 plate” finished in Tungsten Silver with full Obsidian Black leather interior. Having covered a mere 51,959 miles this stunning example boasts a full main dealer service history with the exception of one specialist stamp.
