Maserati Quattroporte

The fifth generation of the Maserati Quattroporte was unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show on the 9th of September 2003 with the car going into production in mid 2004. The body design of the Quattroporte (meaning four-door in Italian) was created by Pininfarina. At launch the styling of this large, luxury saloon was not to every bodies taste but over time the radical curves and lines have put the car on the radar of a new breed of buyers looking for a future classic. Maserati encouraged customers to personalise their Quattroporte and offered a choice of fifteen exterior paint finishes along with ten leather interior colours. From 2008 the Quattroporte was offered with a 6-speed ZF automatic transmission. This fabulous gearbox, coupled with the Ferrari derived 4.2 V8 engine, offered the optimum driving experience. With 395bhp and 451 N/m of torque the Quattroporte could propel its occupants from 0-62 mph in just 5.6 seconds and on to a top speed of 168 mph.

The Maserati Quattroporte offered here at Autostorico is a 2008 “08 plate” and is finished in Nero Carbonio with Avorio cream interior. Having covered 48,826 miles this stunning example was supplied through Stratstone Birmingham and boasts a full main dealer service history most recently carried out at by Lancaster Colchester at 39,217 miles. Specification highlights include; 20” Wheels, Navigation, BOSE sound system, Cruise control, Xenon headlights, CD changer, Piano Black veneer, Nav trak, Skyhook suspension and Parking sensors.
