Porsche 991 Carrera 2S PDK

The Porsche 991 is the internal designation for the seventh generation of the Porsche 911 sports car, which was unveiled at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show as the replacement for the 997. The 991 is an entirely new platform, only the third since the original 911 launched in 1963. For the 991 generation, Porsche lengthened the standard 911 2.2 inches and grew the wheelbase by 3.9 inches. It was also a car of firsts: the first 911 to be made mostly of aluminium, and the first car to be fitted with a seven-speed manual transmission in the entire industry. At launch the 991 was available in Carrera and Carrera S variants. The former offered a 3.4 litre boxer engine with direct fuel injection generating a maximum power output of 350 PS whilst the Carrera S boasted a 3.8 litre engine generating a maximum power output of 400 PS. These punchy six-cylinders propel the car from 0-60 mph in 4.6 and 4.3 seconds respectively.

The Porsche 991 Carrera 2 S PDK offered here at Autostorico is a December 2011 “61 Plate” finished in Platinum Silver metallic with Luxor Beige leather interior.
